  3. Temperature and Rainfall Temperature Rainfall Dry season : 4 inches Wet season : 15 – 25 inches • Warm temperature year round • Savannas have 2 different seasons 1) Very long dry (winter) 2) Very wet (summer)

What is a Savanna? • Savanna is a rolling grassland scattered with scrubs and isolated trees. • There is not enough rainfalls on Savannas to support forest. • Savannas are also known as tropical grasslands. They are found in a wide band on either side of the equator on the edges of tropical rainforests.
