Online Training: • Participants complete according to their schedule • Participant can complete from any location • Start and stop as frequently as needed • Control of training design & components • Build in knowledge checks • Award in-service credit for completion of all components • Does not require face-to-face or travel
Step 1: Check that all assignments are completed. • Step 2: Complete evaluation • Step 3: Notify Homeless Liaison of completion • Receive 4 in-service credits
Training Evaluation: • 45 staff completed course • On a scale of 1 – 5 with 5 being the highest rating, 75% of participants rated this training as a 5 and 25% rated it as a 4.
Comments: • Very informative! • Exercises were helpful and reading material pertinent • Learned how to identify homeless and their rights • I was surprised to find out how many families are affected by homelessness • I found this training helpful to becoming more knowledgeable and helpful at my school. • This gave me a more complete understanding of homelessness and what can be done to help. • I like that I have this training to refer back to when I need help.
