It's very easy and quick. • But if you are bored of having the same dish, you can try this Varicha Sheera which you can also have during Upvas. • Shravan is coming and you need varieties for every week then do try this different but tasty dish. Its healthy and stomach filling as well.
Varicha Sheera by Mejwani Recipes • Cooking Time: 15 Minutes Ingredients • 1 cup Samo Rice, Washed • 1 cup Ghee • 1 cup Sugar • 2 tsp Raisins • 3 cups warm milk • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder • 1/2 tsp Saffron • 7-8 Almonds, chopped
Varicha Sheera by Mejwani Recipes Recipe • Heat ghee in a pan. • Add samo rice to this and saute for 5 minutes. • Add warm milk and cook till the rice is cooked properly. Samo rice takes time to cook. Allow enough time to cook. • When the milk is boiled, add saffron strands and cover the pan. • Add almonds, sugar, raisins and mix well
Varicha Sheera by Mejwani Recipes • Cover it and let it cook till it gets thicken. • Stir continuously so that it does not stick to the bottom. • Add cardamom powder and stir. • Turn off the gas and serve the sheera when it is hot. • Note - You can add jaggery instead of sugar.
