  1. Melanie Lawrence - Lakeville RCE Advocate at Southeast Service Cooperative

  2. Since July 2019, Melanie Lawrence (Lakeville) has served as an RCE (Regional Centers of Excellence) Advocate for the Southeast Service Cooperative in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Education.

  3. In this role, Melanie Lawrence (Lakeville) consults with K-12 leaders and teachers to support and drive school improvement initiatives across various districts.

  4. Melanie Lawrence-Smith's work involves facilitating professional development, coaching educators, and implementing effective instructional programs.

  5. Her efforts are aimed at building organizational capacity within schools, fostering collaborative environments, and addressing the unique challenges faced by educators and students.

  6. Melanie Lawrence-Smith's expertise in the areas that requires data analysis, equity, and restorative practices enables her to provide valuable insights and support to school leaders, helping them create strategies that enhance student achievement and educational outcomes, by using such abilities she can change the life of many students.
