  2. Melanie Lawrence-Smith graduated with an outstanding 4.0 GPA in 1998 from the University of Minnesota, where she pursued her Master's degree in Education. 2017 she received accreditation from Concordia University for K–12 Administration and a Reading Endorsement.

  3. Since beginning her leadership adventure in 2014, Melanie Lawrence-Smith has organized professional development programs, established professional learning communities, and managed in-depth training sessions for leaders and educators.

  4. Melanie Lawrence-Smith joined Richfield STEM Elementary in 2017 as assistant principal, where she is in charge of a busy school with more than 700 students and 70 staff members.
