Of course, a woman is susceptible to cancer at any age, but the age group of 50 years to 74 years are at the maximum risk. These women should opt for a cancer screening with mammography at least every 2 years. The women in the age group of 40 to 49 should consult with their doctor about the frequency of a cancer screening test. Why is breast cancer screening important? Breast cancer is one of the most common reasons for the death of women. This is because, in spite of being aware of the risks, women neglect their breast cancer screening.
