Rising Actions • The Wizard begins to make laws limiting the freedom of Animals • Elphaba becomes an assassin against the Wizard • Dorothy appears in Munchkinland (kills sister, takes shoes) Basic Situation Elphaba, a green girl, is born in Munchkinland Conflict Elphaba leaves Munchkinland for college (Shiz University) Climax Elphaba confronts Dorothy with a flaming broom Resolution Will Elphaba finally recover her sister’s shoes? Animals: Look just like animals, but are intelligent and can think like humans
