The RSSO assists the GL in executing his safety duties and works closely with the RSO and with HSE/RP • Limited to the group´s installations and areas and to a specific mandate (see memo) • Regular reporting to GL and RSO • Regular contacts with RSO and other RSSOs • General tasks & additional specific tasks (see memo) • Work preparation (see next slide) RSSO networking meeting - IMPACT and Dosimetry

News from RSOC AOB • The medical certificate issue is being addressed, accesses prolonged and users asked to bring MC from home institute. • Some personal dosimeters are at end of life time and overestimate. They will be replaced according to availability of new dosimeters, in the meantime a compensation algorithm is used to correct the dose. However, IMPACT will not show the corrected dose, this has to wait for a larger consolidation campaign. • An ATS RSSO training day will take place in autumn 2014. • A new DIMR routing will be integrated in IMPACT by the end of the year, aimed at intervention feedback. Also, an RSSO will be appointed to each Level II or Level III intervention (visibility) and the role of project leader will be assigned and get read access to relevant personnel doses.
