This workshop by CalWater2, NOAA P-3 and G-IV aircraft operations center provides a plain talk about aircraft instrumentation used for atmospheric research, including GPS, radar, dropsonde, and cloud probes. Learn about flight level data collection and its importance in studying cloud microphysics, winds, aerosols, and chemistry. Discover the tools and techniques used to measure ocean surface wind speed, ozone, and CO levels. Join us to gain insights into the world of atmospheric research through aircraft data collection.
