  2. It isn’t only our rivers that divide oxford There are social injustices that divide our community. Help Oxford Community Foundation to build a bridge across this divide. 11.7% children live in poverty; 9% in severe poverty 18 SOAs in top 20% most disadvantaged nationally Only 22% of children living in poverty achieve 5 GCSEs (A-C) ie 78% nil increasingly few lower skilled work opportunities geographic barriers in terms of access to services House prices - nationally, second only to London strong employment competition for skilled work, especially in science and technology
