NETCENTS Mandatory Use Waiver Process for Small Business • NETCENTS contract for Network Centric IT products and services was originally • awarded to four large and four small businesses • Only two out of the four original are still considered small business on NETCENTS • NETCENTS is currently covered by a mandatory use policy • However, ordering activities may exercise a waiver process when requirements • can be met by two or more small businesses • Contracting officer approves the waiver • Waiver process does allow for installations to achieve small business goals, • obtain other technical benefits or cost savings
