What is AF Saves?, continued • A campaign of America Saves, a program of the Consumer Federation of America Foundation (CFA) • Nationwide social marketing campaign to encourage Americans to build wealth and eliminate debt
America Saves and DoD • DoD partnered with CFA through an MOU to establish Saves in the Military Services • Goal is to increase financially responsible behavior among military personnel
America Saves and DoD, continued • Seeks to institutionalize financial preparedness as part of military preparedness by establishing new norms and organizational support for these norms
