Physical Characteristics • Monkeys are furry and have tails. • Monkeys can be orange like an orangutan they can be brown or black. • Monkeys have similar characteristics to people. • Monkeys have hands and feet just like people. They don’t have paws like dogs or cats. • Baby monkeys cling on to the adult Monkeys back. • The female washes their baby instead of the male.
Interesting Facts • A mandrill and baboons are the largest monkeys. • Proboscis monkeys communicate by making a honk sound from their incredibly large noses.
