  1. Log term test Johan M., Vito P. 16/12/2013

  2. Setup MPOD 1 SRB (4chs) 30 COVERs

  3. The Test • The test consists to repeat every minute a noise scan over 24h. • HV on but no active gas

  4. The Test • The test consists to repeat every minute a noise scan over 24h. • HV on but no active gas

  5. Noise Scan Results In order to study the behavior of our electronics in time we ar computing the weighted mean and sigma of each channel versus the time.

  6. Noise Scan Results (Sigmas)

  7. Noise Scan Results (Means)

  8. Noise Scan Results In order to study the behavior of our electronics in time we are computing the weighted mean and sigma of each channel versus the time. The mean variation is less than 1mV over 24h (no temperature or humidity monitoring).

  9. Noise Scan Results In order to study the behavior of our electronics in time we ar computing the weighted mean and sigma of each channel versus the time. The mean variation is less than 1mV over 24h (no temperature or humidity monitoring). Few (~8/~1800) runs are clearly deviating from the collective behavior, but inspecting them…

  13. Future Plans • The long term test we performed up to now does not suggest problems in our apparatus. • Possible external sources of noise have been found (to be confirmed). • Possible baseline variations. • The apparatus Johan prepared for the test is ready to be extensively used. • A fully comprehensive test will be performed from January.
