Property Owner: Masonic Villages • 30 year agreement to provide the land & buy the electricity from… • Owner/Operator of the Solar Farm: Elizabethtown Solar Partners, formed by Solar Renewable Energy Partners, Mechanicsburg, PA • $4.5 million project • $1.2 million in state grants + tax credits to Solar Farm Operator

  3. Photovoltaic cells are wafers of silicon with wires to the two different silicon layers which cause a current flow in sunlight.

  4. 4350 panels providing 1.2 million kilowatt hours per year of electricity or 5% of our purchased electricity

  5. Savings: 1 to 1.5 cents less per kWh than PPL default customer rates but we also reduce our peak demand charges
