Come to Hong Kong • Participate in an international program that promotes discussion of political economy with young leaders • Learn from renowned professors • Analyze and debate issues of economics, global trade and economic development with outstanding students, well-known professors and notable guests. • Live in the international center for finance and trade and a hub for vibrant cultural interaction.

  3. Institute Objectives • The Institute is intended for serious and energetic students who are willing to be challenged by stimulating ideas and cultural exchange. • AIPE brings together over 60 students from a wide range of nationalities to interact, learn and share their experiences.

  4. Academics • Political Economy Component the examines structure and functions of a market economy. Students will use the Harvard Business School case study approach to examine how several countries have fared using respective models of market governance. • The American Studies Component allows students to explore historical and cultural aspects of American society. The course examines Theories, structures and principles of of the American system of constitutional government • Academic credit is available through Georgetown University for either graduate or undergraduate level studies.
