Objectives • Students will gain knowledge of the physical features of earth (hill, lake, river, mountain, forest).
Materials • Two pictures of each physical feature (lake, river, hill, mountain, forest) • Index cards with names of physical features.
Student Activities • Students will be given multiple pictures of each physical feature. • Students will be given the name of each feature written on an index card. • Students will match the name of each Physical feature to the picture of each physical feature
A hill is a rounded elevation of land, smaller than a mountain.
A mountain is a land mass that rises above it’s surroundings and is higher than a hill.
