  13. Cut out the shape of a polar bear using the construction paper. Glue on cotton and coconut for the fur. Polar Bear Activity

  14. Igloo Activity • Create the image of an igloo by placing 3 small cartons on a table and place a white sheet over top of the table. To create an entrance, cut out bottom end of the cardboard carton and place sides horizontal on the floor so you can crawl through. Place another white sheet over entrance. For the floor, use the furry rug because this resembles fur like the Eskimos used

  15. “Blubber Mitten” Activity • Fill one sandwich bag 1/3 full of crisco, and turn the other bag inside out. Place the bag in the bag with the crisco so you can zip one to the other. This will create a “blubber mitten” to put on your hand. Place bare hand and “blubber” hand in a bowl filled with ice water. Compare how each one feels.
