Pyxis Scan on Refill Will require users to scan the barcode of the med to be refilled and the pocket barcode for Matrix, Refrigerator, Tower and Mini-Matrixdrawers *not all meds will require barcode scanning. Only those that are deemed high risk will require one
Pyxis Scan on Refill On the Refill list, anything that needs scanning will have a “Scan is Required” notice. ITEMS REQUIRING SCANNING CAN ONLY BE REFILLED VIA BARCODE SCAN To refill that item, scan the barcode of the med

Pyxis Scan on Refill If the scanned drug is loaded, the right pocket for that scanned drug will open. If the wrong drug is scanned, a message will show (see image to the right) and no pocket will open. Pyxis Scan on Refill For Matrix, Refrigerator, Tower and Mini-Matrix drawers, you will need to scan the barcode on the pocket after scanning the medication. NOpocketscanning is required for CUBIE’s
Pyxis Scan on Refill Proceed to normal refill functions -confirm beginning count -enter quantity to be refilled -enter earliest expiration date NOTE: DO NOT BYPASS SCAN ON REFILL BY USING THE INVENTORY FUNCTION!!! This bypasses the safety feature which may lead to errors. If after several failed attempts the scanning issue persist, contact a manager. Please check with the pharmacist to make sure you have the correct drug and dose.
Pyxis Scan on Refill NOTE: System will only require user to scan only1 item, so if you’re refilling 10 tabs of drug A, you only have to scan 1 tab out of those 10. You will still have to check each and every dose to make sure that all 10 tabs are correct before placing them in the pocket.
