Spelling change verbs • Certain verbs, spelling change verbs, have a different conjugation in the “nous” form than the “ils/elles” form. • For spelling change verbs you must keep that spelling change in the nous/vous form of the subjunctive • Ex: payer (present tense  nous payons / ilspaient) • Subjunctive: ilfautque nous payions / ilfautqu’ilspaient.
