4. Only the Young Earth Creation (YEC) Model properly points to Christ. • YEC is more logically solid than all other origins models, particularly Evolution. • Scientist are biased, opponents are hostile, the public is clueless.

5. Why Talk about it? To point to Christ • 1 Cor15:21-22: For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. • Rom 5:12: Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned • Without Adam’s sin, we have no need for Christ sacrifice.

7. The Young Earth Creation Model • Most strict adherence of scripture • Scientific supported • When incorporated with ‘Appearance of Age’, becomes the most logically complete of all origins models • MUCH fewer challenges (as we will see)

8. Two Parts to the Young Earth Model • Unscientific part (Faith): • Humans have been given the CAPACITY to contemplate God, but NOT the CAPABILITY to prove His existence. • The gap between them: Faith. • The “Unscientific” portion of YEC is unscientific by design • Scientific part: • The scripture must be supported by science • “God did it” is ONLY used when there is scriptural support for it. • Everything in the Creation model can be shown in either scripture or science (sometimes both).

9. Challenges to Evolution • New challenges are continually coming out, primarily in: • Astronomy & Cosmology • Genetics & Microbiology • Geology & Paleontology • Evolution is a theory in crisis, and it shows
