Symptoms Visual impairments (blurred vision, changing of color, and optic nerve inflammation Difficulty with coordination and balance Fatigue Speech impediment Uncontrollable laughing or weeping Depression Memory loss
Severe Symptoms Sexual dysfunction Reduced bowel and bladder control.
Cognitive characteristics recent memory sustained attention verbal fluency conceptual reasoning
Social characteristics Females are more likely than males to show positive adjustment Severe disability and cognitive impairment are predictors of loss of employment, decline in the standards of living and withdrawal from social and leisure activities among patients and are strong indicators of stress among relatives.
