Record setting cold this weekRedmond, Oregon reached 10 F on Wednesday (10/26) which is a new record low for this early in the season. The previous earliest date to reach 10 F had been October 28th set in 1971.
The record minimum number of days to reach at least 60 degrees in a calendar year at PDX (1940-2011) is 172 days set in 1950 & 1955. As of today, PDX has reached 60 degrees or higher just 166 times so far in 2011. Will we break the record?

Your dues have also helped to secure some of the talented speakers we have here today as well as for this years informative and expanded weather conference.

NEW --- Q & A will be held until the end of the morning forecast session when we will host a joint Q & A with all speakers at the same time. Afternoon presenters will take Q & A after each presentation. * Timing for all speakers will be monitored to ensure that all speakers stay within the allotted time. If you finish early, please yield your remaining time to the next speaker so we can stay on time. Please look to the front row for your time remaining.
