  2. Warm Up 1 People had to live differently depending on where they settled on the Arabian peninsula. There was more of a nomadic lifestyle in the desert. People could easily settle along the wider parts of the coastal plains. People in the mountains created terraced farming. When you finish work on Page 2

  4. Classwork -- I will pass out the article about Arabian geography Today we will read only the “adaptations” paragraphs for each feature We will stop and read over the note taker on page 5 for each feature On the note taker, you will write an answer to the question for that feature

  5. Your turn! On page 4, you drew 4 squares label each square with one of the 4 geographic features from the note taker You will drawn a picture of people living in/on that physical features Your picture should reflect the information on the notes on page 5

  6. HW Read back over today’s notes Complete the Adaptations drawings by Friday 5 February
