SKB’s starting points • Nuclear wasteexists and needs to be taken care of -regardless of whatwethinkaboutfuture of nuclear power. • There is a system for takingcare of all nuclearwaste in Sweden today in a safeway. • In order to protect the environment and humans in the long term, SKB wants to build a deepgeologicalrepository for spentnuclearfuel. • Safety and transparency in fullfilling this mission.
