Typical use • Help parents and their kids solve their relationship problems logically with a step-by-step process • Process teaches kids to make good decisions by thinking about their choices and options
Who uses it • Kids • parents
Step 1 • Identify the problem/ situation • Basically ask questions about what is causing the problem and what the problem is
Step 2 • Generate Alternatives • Again ask questions & brainstorm ideas: “what can we do different?”
Step 3 • Evaluate the alternative suggestions • Goal is to chose solution that is agreeable with everyone • Basically comprimise
Step 4 • Make the Decision • Chose the answer that’s best for everyone
Step 5 • Implement the solution/ decision • Give the solution a try and see how well it works or doesn’t work
Step 6 • Do a follow up evaluation • Question the solution: • Did it solve your problem? • How could we change it and make it better?
