Biomass. Wood , leaves, animal and human wastes and food waste are all biomass. It refers to all animal and plant material, Both dead and alive. Biogas. If plant and animal wastes are allowed to rote in the absence of air, bacteria break down the wastes to produce biogas.

  1. Biomass Wood , leaves, animal and human wastes and food waste are all biomass. It refers to all animal and plant material, Both dead and alive.

  2. Biogas If plant and animal wastes are allowed to rote in the absence of air, bacteria break down the wastes to produce biogas. Biogas is mainly methane, just like natural gas

  3. Energy Farming Involves growing plants for use as fule. China has some four million factories that produce biogas.

  4. If you have ridden in a car fueled with gasohol, you have used a product of biomass

  5. Gasohol Is a combination of ethanol and gasoline.

  6. Pure ethanol can be used in cars if the engines are modified slightly. Biogas and gasohol seem like ideal energy sources. They disturb the ecosystem and cause air polution.
