1. Mesoskin Case Studies Case Study 1 – Meso Peel Melanin This client had a peel treatment. She has no contra indications and has no history of previous peel treatments. The client is in her 50’s and is concerned with ageing and pigmentation. We discussed the best peel for her skin type and I chose to use the Meso peel Melanin. This contains Resorcinol (20%) which has powerful regenerating properties. I explained that she would feel a slight ‘stingly’ sensation for the first thirty seconds when the peel is applied. This is because the peel is changing the pH of her skin to allow a deeper exfoliation process to occur. First I wiped over the skin using the Meso Pure Peel wipe. This has a cleansing action and prepares the skin for treatment. Next I poured 2ml of the Meso Peel Melanin into a ceramic bowl. Then I applied the Meso Peel Protection to the lips, corners of the nose and eyes to protect the delicate skin from the peel. Wearing gloves I then applied the peel using a fan brush. I started in the middle of the forehead, sweeping out towards the sides – temples. Next I applied the peel to the nose, upper lip and chin, and jawline and finally the cheeks were the last area to have the peel solution applied. The peel stayed on the skin for up to 5 minutes. The treatment time can be increased by one minute each treatment until a total of 10 minutes is achieved. My client was very comfortable and relaxed during the treatment. After 5 minutes elapsed I then removed the peel using gauze soaked in water, starting from the central area and continuing with the cheeks and forehead. I then applied the the Meso Peel Stop to neutrilize the action of the peel and stop it from working, it has a pH of 8.7. After I had applied the Meso Peel Stop I then rehydrated the skin using the Meso Anti Age Mask. This mask contains soothing properties that will not irritate the skin, as well as being a powerful anti-aging mask. I left this mask on for up to 40 minutes. While

2. the mask was on I performed the Meso Peel on the back of my clients hands repeating the treatment procedure as above. After 40 minutes I removed the mask and then applied the Meso Lift and Protect to the face and neck as the final procedure. My client was pleased with the end results. Her skin looked brighter and softer. She said that she was happy and would book again. I would recommend a course of treatments, 1 peel every 7 – 10 days for a period of 5 weeks, should the client want to see a real improvement in her skin.
