  2. Order of Events • Ordered parts and supplies • Played the waiting game • Worked on other areas of the project • Encountered Problem • Solved Problem and Started Testing

  3. Oscilloscope Testing • HP 54165B Capable of FFT Testing • TDS 3054 Lab Scope Used for Testing

  4. Problem Encountered • Old Amplifier was having problems • Loop back circuit (AD620) was not soldered correctly • Caused the output to be locked high • Re-soldering Fixed this problem

  5. Testing Started • Heartbeat Test

  7. Built New Amplifier • Circuit Schematic for current amplifier

  8. New Circuit – Built

  9. Problem with New Circuit • Need to break AGND connection on board more thoroughly

  10. Moving Forward • We will make sure that our new board works and continue testing. • We will focus on FFT results and see if we can correlate FFT measurements with certain brain waves. • We will work with the digital groups to implement a system for using the brain waves.
