University participants of the Forum :

1. The resolution ofRoundtable: “Contemporary students’issues” in the frames of International Forum of Medical Students “D.O.C.” April 17-19, 2012 S.D.Asfendiyarov Kazakh NationalMedical University, Almaty, Kazakhstan.

2. In order to implement the resolution of “To Success through Partnership and Innovation” round table, held in the framework of “the University Days - 2011” the International Forum of Medical Students «DOC - Development. Opportunities. Cooperation.» was run on the KazNMU bazes. Forum’s purpose was to develop cooperation among the students of KazNMU partner universities, creation and implementation of joint international students projects. The Forum program included the competition on the best joint international students projects, roundtable on “Contemporary students’ issues”,  communication skills training, cultural activities (Fair of cultures, a celebration of Nauruz, KazNMU and Almaty excursion tours).

3. Among 56 participants there were students of medical faculty, young researchers of leading Universities of Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan participated in the work of the Forum “D.O.C.”. Karagandy State Medical University, Kazakhstan IKTU by named H.A.Yasavi, Kazakhstan South Kazakhstan State Pharmaceutical Academy, Kazakhstan Akhunbayev Kyrgyz Satet Medical Academy, Kyrgyzstan International University of Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyzstan Astrakhan State Medical Academy, Russia Saint-Petersburg State Chemical-Pharmaceutical Academy, Russia Kirov State Medical Academy, Russia National Pharmaceutical University of Ukraine, Ukraine

5. As a result of Forum “D.O.C.”. the following recommendations have been worked out: • Create International Association of medical students “The Bridge of Friendship”, IAMS with the appropriate set of documentation: rules, regulations and recognizable international logo of Association.

Create the web site of Association including the following headings in the languages of partner universities: • Student forum • Science, education, international cooperation • News of upcoming events in partner universities • Student life, student organizations, unions of partner universities • Development strategy of student community in partner universities • Contacts of all Association members including the web sites of the Universities

7. 2. Create the web site of Association including the following headings in the languages of partner universities (continuation): • Interviews with leading specialists • Information on the projects • Actively developing sectors of medicine in partner universities • Video lections of leading specialists, telemedicine • Webinars, online conferences of Association members • Current programs on academic, trainee mobility within the partner universities

8. 3. The chairmanship in Association will be for a period of 1 (one) year with the right to depute the responsibilities to the next chair country of Association. Aiming to provide the succession and chain of activities there will be 3 universities to carry the responsibilities of the chairmanship in the Association in equal measure. They are: 1 university – current chair University, 1 University preceding chair University, 1 University taking the role of the future chair University.

9. 4. Create responsible group within each partner university and the main responsibilities of that group will be the following: • Be in touch with all Association members • Hold bilateral events • Plan the Association activities on international levels distinguishing the responsible University • Choose the chairman/ leader and other responsible people of Association on the within each University • Take into account there should be one person responsible for introduction/ implementation of innovative projects in medical universities • Promote student science through conferences, online conferences, educational seminars and seasonal schools

10. 5. Hold international Forum of medical students “D.O.C.” annually in partner universities the main goal of which will be the following: • Give the report on implemented work/ activities and the future plan of actions • Enhance international relations between Association members • Develop and implement joint scientific, innovative projects • Exchange experience, brighten professional competence and erudition of Association members • Widen the Association membership

11. 6. Partner universities can create joint financial Fund with the aim to: • Award the best project within International Forum of Medical Students and students organizations “D.O.C.” • Support implementation of winning project • Hold programs of social support (f.ex.: scholarships) upon availability • Provide commercialization of projects • Contribute annual organizational membership fees for Association development and programs

12. 7. The activities agreed within the realization of Round table “Contemporary students’ issues” resolution will be reflected in strategic development documents of partner universities and implemented in the action plan of authorized organs in the countries-members of Association.

13. 8. Partner universities can use the Association logo for noncommercial printed and other advertisement which is meant to be distributed along with logo usage on educational and medical exhibitions.
