The FirstToSee App • Smartphone App • Submit a report of what you see: • Category • Description • Photos • Location (x,y) • Email confirmation that the report was received • Agency (person) is emailed that a report has been submitted (by geography)

The Everett Exercise • At the Everett EOC • Incident commander, 3 staff • 18 trusted users • 195 reports filed, 300 tweets • Feedback: • Easy to use submit a report, suggested changes • Map and tabular display helped keep data organized • Conclusions: • Assign PIO/Ops to watch incoming data, no new staff • Will be more immediate information • Trusted users will be important
FirstToSee – Phase II • Add video uploads • Build redundancy and cybersecurity components • System enhancements to all more filtering and other data segregating tools • Advanced natural language translation • Marketing to the Public • Allow agencies outside of WA to use the system
