I AM CONVINCED 2 Corinthians 5:11-21
2 Corinthians 5:14-15 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
WE WOULD LOOK AT PEOPLE DIFFERENTLY. 2 Corinthians 5:11
* Make Christ-like Disciples in the Nations (Nazarene)* To help lost people become devoted followers of Jesus
So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 2 Corinthians 5:11
God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. 2 Corinthians 5:19
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:36
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17
WE WOULD LIVE INTENTIONALLY. 2 Corinthians 5:20
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20
What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience. 2 Corinthians 5:11b
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21
WE WOULD TRY TO PERSUADE PEOPLE OF GOD’S LOVE FOR THEM. 2 Corinthians 5:11a
Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others. 2 Corinthians 5:11a
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:15
God calls us to help lost people become devoted followers of Jesus.
