  1. 新高中應用學習課程 (2012-14學年)課程簡介

  2. 課程理念 • 提供真實情境與內容，以切合一些善於實踐多於概念化 • 學習的學生的需要，並激發其學習動機； • 包括具挑戰性的課程內容，並為學生提供進修及就業的 • 準備； • 因應專業進修和本港工作環境的發展趨勢，設立六個學 • 習範疇。每個學習範疇均提供基礎知識和概念，以助學 • 生掌握及緊貼該範疇的知識和運作情況； • 學生可透過應用學習課程中與職業相關的情境，加深對 • 各行各業的認識。藉著了解專業領域內的知識、技能和 • 職場要求，學生得以訂立就業的方向。

  3. 施行模式 學校可與課程提供機構協作，按學生的學習需要提供應用學習課程。下列為兩個可以兼容並包的施行模式： 模式一：課程於課程提供機構的場地進行，並由 該機構的導師教授。學校須按課程提供 機構的時間表，安排學生外出上課。 模式二：大部分課程於學校內上課，並主要由課 程提供機構的導師教授。學校可與課程 提供機構訂定施行細節，如時間表安排、 場地、設備等。

  4. 課程設計 每個應用學習課程的總課時為180小時，修讀期橫跨中五及中六兩個學年 所有現時修讀由課程發展議會所建議之新高中課程的中五學生均可修讀 學生可修讀一至兩個應用學習課程作為選修科目，惟需視乎學校的提名、課程提供機構的甄選及個別課程的學位數目而定

  5. 評估及質素認可 應用學習課程不設公開考試。課程提供機構會負責評核學生的表現（包括進展性及總結性的評核），並主要由有關的課程導師負責執行。 香港考試及評核局（考評局）會負責調控由課程提供機構呈交的評核成績。應用學習課程的成績經調控後，將記錄在香港中學文憑證書上。 成功修畢應用學習課程的學生，其成績將以「達標」及「達標並表現優異」兩個等級記錄在香港中學文憑證書上。 取得「達標」及「達標並表現優異」的學生，其成績將被評定為相等於香港中學文憑科目第二級及第三級。

  6. 各大學對應用學習課程的認可 理大:考生在相關應用學習科目中如獲得「達標並成績優異」可被視作為達至選修科要求。 教院:考生在應用學習科目中如獲得「達標並成績優異」可被視作為達至選修科要求。 科大:考生在應用學習科目中如獲得「達標並成績優異」可被視作為附加參考資料。 港大:考生在應用學習科目中如獲得「達標並成績優異」可被視作為附加參考資料。 嶺大:考生在應用學習科目中如獲得「達標並成績優異」可被視作為附加參考資料。

  7. 教學語言及上課時間(模式一) • 全部 34 個應用學習課程採用以下兩種教學語言 • 的其中一種: • 英文或中文 • 中文 • 上課時間大致如下: • 星期三上午 或 • 星期三下午 或 • 星期六上午 或 • 星期六下午

  8. 甄選學生程序(模式一) 學校提名學生報讀應用學習課程 (13-02-2012 至 03-04-2012) 課程提供機構甄選學生(12-05-2012 、19-05-2012及26-05-2012) 教育局公佈甄選結果(11-06-2012) 學校確定修讀學生人數(25-06-2012前)
