Primary Accreditation Process Flow The primary accreditation application processes follows nine sequential steps : Level One : Accreditation Preliminary Criteria (Compulsory Reading of INSETA policies and guidelines) Level Two : QCTO Letter of Intent Request Level Three : QCTO Referral Letter Level Four: INSETA Primary Accreditation Application Pack Level Five : Application Prescreening (vetting) Level Six : Provider Interview Level Seven : Desktop evaluation of the application Level Eight : Accreditation Site Visit Level Nine : Provisional Accreditation Award

Secondary Accreditation Process Flow The secondary accreditation application processes follows nine sequential steps : Level One : Accreditation Preliminary Criteria (Compulsory Reading of INSETA policies and guidelines) Level Two : QCTO Letter of Intent Request Level Three : QCTO Referral Letter , MOU SETA Referral Letter, Confirmation of primary accreditation, copies of endorsed external moderation reports (verification) Level Four: INSETA Programme Approval Application Pack Level Five : Application Prescreening (vetting) Level Six : Provider Interview Level Seven : Desktop evaluation of the application Level Eight : Accreditation Site Visit Level Nine : Provisional Accreditation Award

Full Accreditation Award All accreditation development plans , site visit feedback and or monitoring requirements must be satisfactorily closed off The provision of a comprehensive learner status list Copy of an endorsed verification report(s) for a comprehensive learner group (full qualification completed) Upload and verification compliance INSETA learner certificates availability Confirmation of the closure of all INSETA funded programmes Issue of full accreditation award letter Issue of an INSETA accreditation certificate The INSETA has recently issued accreditation certificates to providers who have been deemed to have met full accreditation requirements. Full Accreditation certificates have been issued up to the 30 June 2022.

Is provisional until first endorsed verification Can be suspended, withdrawn in the event of identified non compliance Must be applied for as part of a scope extension processes Categories include extension of scope to provide learnerships, RPL, online learning, e– learning, distance learning Programme Scope Extensions – Learning Methodology Approval

  7. Monitoring Interventions Formalized monitoring and evaluation Monitoring of training delivery ( during facilitation). Learners must be available for interview purposes Surveys and Questionnaires Annual compliance ( TCC and Company registration) Research and Benchmarking Monitoring will be conducted nationally and will be led by ETQA evaluation teams. Monitoring Process for the 2019 /2020 Financial Year

Accuracy of Information for Reporting purposes Skills development providers must contact the INSETA ETQA in the event of the following changes : Business Ownership Staff Changes Office or delivery site relocation Change of INSETA contact liaison details Monitoring Process for the 2019 /2020 Financial Year

ETQA Capacity Building Initiatives Quality Assurance Visits to ensure the closure of accreditation issued development plans Training readiness and pre verification capacity building Assessor Moderator Forums Quality assurance policies, tools and guidelines available on the INSETA website INSETA developed learning material is available

Customer Relationship Management INSETA MIS systems has been enhanced to improve customer service and or manage customer communication with the ETQA Electronic provider accreditation statement has been developed (live on Indicium) Quality Assurance policies, tools and guidelines are available on the INSETA website A functionality to capture all provider delivery sites ( in development) The upload of provider accreditation award letters and monitoring reports ( in development)
