  1. Los Verbos Regulares Present tense conjugations of regular –ER verbs

  2. Los Pronombres Personales (Subject Pronouns) Singular yo tú él / ella / Usted Plural nosotros vosotros ellos / ellas / Ustedes

  3. Every infinitive has 2 parts: 1. STEM - The stem is the part of the infinitive before one of the 3 endings. (-AR, -ER, -IR) For example in comer– It is com . . . (the part before the –er ending). 2. ENDING – The ending is the –ar, -er, -ir part of the infinitive.

  4. Comer (to eat)= Com Correr (to run) = Corr Beber (to drink)= Beb Leer (to read) = Lee Part 1 - THE STEM Part 2 – THE ENDING -ER

  5. To form the present tense: Keep the stem, drop the -er ending, add the new ending. STEM + Verb ending -o -es -e -emos -éis -en

  6. com com com o es e com com com emos éis en comer Por ejemplo…: com er

  7. le le le o es e le le le emos éis en leer Por ejemplo…: le er

  8. ¿Cuál es la forma correcta? mi amigo y yo corremos el estudiante corre correr

  9. ¿Cuál es la forma correcta? mi padre come unos amigos comen comer
