Application/Passport information 1. Fill out an application:Your name on the student application must completely match the name as it is or will be on your passport, including your middle name. We give the namethat you enter on your application to the travel provider for ticket issuance. If the name you provide to us does not exactly match the name on your passport, you may be denied boarding your flight, or the airline could charge you a large fee to re‐issue your tickets. The College is not responsible for errors or omissions of your name on the Study Abroad application.2. passport:If you already have a passport, include a copy of the iD page with your application. If you don’t have a passport, it can take up to 12 weeks to get one. Plan accordingly!!
Program Information 1. By submitting an application and all other subsequent forms you agree to abide by all program rules and to your deposits for the trip must be submitted according to the timelines of your individual SA program. 2. The IEC director and/or faculty/staff reserves the right to accept or decline participants in the program.3. the cost of all SA programs is based on multi-occupancy. Also, due to the fluctuation in foreign currency, final program costs may not be available until 30 days before departure. Participants are liable and responsible for any additional costs above the advertised rates4. all participating students are required to attend a pre-departure orientation.5. medical and travel insurance is required for all SA trips with pbsc. The College has secured a very reasonable insurance plan with Gallagher-koster that will cover you for your trip. The cost is $37 for most students depending on age. This insurance is mandatory unless you can otherwise prove coverage through your own.

Travel Requirements for Canada 1. For tourist visits to Canada of less than 180 days, U.S. citizens do not need visas.
Program Costs 1. Tuition for course: Resident $295 non-resident $10742. program cost for accommodations, airfare, some meals, side trips, related itinerary, airport transfers and other transportation costs: __$2300-2600*____ p/p3. pbsc administrative costs: _tbd____ p/p4. G-K insurance: starts at $37, increases by age group5. incidentals (for meals not covered, souvenirs, tips, Recreational activities during Free Time, and other miscellaneous costs): TBD by student on an individual basis. total: ____________________* There’s an additional fee of $290 for full-paying participants 23 and older and are not included in the initial total price listed for the group fare.
PROGRAMS COSTS -For this trip the third party provider requires for payments to be made directly to them.-Note that there’s an additional fee of $290 for participants who are 23 and older.
PROGRAM COSTS THE PROVIDER OFFERS PAYMENT OPTIONs:-“3-STEP MANUAL PLAN”:PAY $100 NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT AND THEN YOU PAY $300 TOWARD YOUR Tour Fee 30 days later. The remaining balance is due 75 days prior to departure. Payments are not automatically deducted on this plan so you must make each payment manually.
Program costs -MONTHLY AUTOMATED PLAN: PAY $100* NONREFUNDABLE FEE WITH CREDIT CARD OR CHECKING ACCOUNT, AND THE BALANCE OF YOUR TOUR FEE WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED TO YOUR CARD OR DEBITED FROM YOUR ACCOUNT IN EQUAL MONTHLY INSTALLMENTS UNTIL 35 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE DATE. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST MAKE ALL PAYMENTS BY CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD. IF TWO CONSECUTIVE PAYMENTS ARE RETURNED OR DECLINED BY YOUR BANK OR CREDIT COMPANY, EXPLORICAWILL CHANGE YOUR ACCOUNT TO THE 3-STEP MANUAL PLAN. *Explorica is running a promotion until 10/31/2014 where this fee is reduced to $15.
Program costs GENERAL PAYMENT INFORMATION: -EXPLORICA WILL AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE THE CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS OF PARTICIPANTS WHO CHOOSE THE MONTHLY PAYMENT OPTION. -EMAIL REMINDERS OF PAYMENTS WILL BE SENT OUT TO ALL OTHER PARTICIPANTS WHO CHOOSE THE 3-STEP PLAN. REMINDERS WILL GO OUT ABOUT 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE PAYMENT IS DUE AND WILL BE ONLY THROUGH EMAIL, NOT THE MAIL. -PAYMENTS THAT ARE LATE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $25 LATE FEE. -THE DATE OF PAYMENT IS DETERMINED BY THE DATE OF RECEIPT AT EXPLORICA. IF YOU ARE NOT PAID IN FULL BY 95DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE, OR DO NOT MEET THE CONDITIONS OF YOUR PAYMENT PLAN, THEN YOUR TOUR RESERVATION WILL BE CANCELLED.
PROGRAM LOGISTICS - TO AVOID MAKING PAYMENTS THAT WILL NOT BE REFUNDABLE LATER ON, WE WILL ONLY SIGN UP WITH EXPLORICA WHEN WE HAVE THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS (10) FOR THE TRIP.-BECAUSE OF THE SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS IMPOSED BY EXPLORICA WE NEED TO HAVE A FINAL DEADLINE OF STUDENTS COMMITTED TO THE TRIP BY 3/1/2015. -AN APPLICATION WILL HAVE TO BE FILLED OUT BY THOSE STUDENTS WHO IDENTIFY THEY WANT TO MAKE THE COMMITMENT. WE WILL CAP REGISTRATION AT 15 STUDENTS.
