Michael Harrington is an ex-employee of the New York Police Department, which is one of the oldest and the largest police departments in the United States. The department came into existence in 1845 and since then, it has been offering an array of services including criminal intelligence, anti-terrorism, air support, emergency Services, bomb disposal, anti gang, narcotics, etc. The department's major goal is to enforce law, maintain peace, reduce fear, and provide a secure environment. The headquarters of the NYPD is at One Police Plaza, which is located in Lower Manhattan. This is where Michael Harrington worked while serving the New York Police Department. The NYPD members are popularly called New York's Finest. The motto of department is Fidelis ad Mortem, which means Faithful Unto Death and this motto inspires the employees and youth to work hard for the department.
Michael Harrington, New York Police Department took up the job of a police officer in 2002. He always aspired to become a police officer and prepared well for the qualifying test and physical examination. He served the department till 2009. These seven years were the best time of his life. In order to join the police services, he enrolled in John Jay College of Criminal Justice for a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, which is one of the many qualifying degrees for joining the police department. He received his degree in 2008. He also studied at the Drake Business School and the American Business Institute for learning word processing and accounting skills.
Michael Harrington, New York Police Department started his career in 1995, much before joining this service . His first job was as a stockbroker with a company named Investor’s Associates, Inc. He was a registered representative there. Later on, he joined, First Hanover Securities as a stockbroker. In 1996, he joined Clark Boardman Callaghan and sold legal publications to attorneys. Using his sales and marketing skills, he helped N. W. Ayer, a website that sells web pages and banners to businesses, increase their business. He also worked for Schick Technologies, Inc. that sold digital X-ray equipment to dentists. He worked at Inspirica Inc. and the Art Institute of New York City. Both these jobs used his marketing skills in the field of education.
