Frosty’s Family Fun Night is Thursday the 23rd. • What We’re Learning: • Reading : How Leopard Got His Spots • Genre: Folktale • Skill: Sequence of Events • Grammar: Commands and Possessive Nouns • Phonics: Diagraph “-ch and -tch” • Math: Addition, subtraction, money, counting, place, and patterns (we do these daily) • Topic 4Understanding Subtraction • 4-1 Finding Missing Parts • 4-2 Finding Missing Parts • 4-4 Number Sentences • 4-5 Stories About Separating • 4-6 Stories about Comparing • 4-7 Connecting Addition and Subtraction • Complete homework: • Wednesday; ; read story, study words to know and spelling for test • Thursday; read story, study words to know and spelling for test • Always study sight words in the back of your students binder. • Notes from the teacher: • All of your students graded papers and any activities that we do in the classroom will be in their purple folder. Graded papers need to be signed and returned • Please check your student’s agenda every night and initial it. • Remember to study sight words! • TestFriday • Reading story • Words to Know • Spelling
