  7. REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD USE TANGRAMS IN YOUR CLASSROOM: • Understand area without the use of formulas • Compute the area of polygons by decomposition • Become familiar with the names of certain polygons (eg. Rectangle, trapezoid, and pentagon) • Develop geometric intuition • Etc…
