  2. Objectives Our objectives for this class are to: • Log on to and navigate within MAXIS Inquiry • Locate relevant information in MAXIS and MMIS • Identify current program information and benefit issuance in MAXIS and MMIS • Locate worker information in MAXIS

  3. Logging on to MAXIS • Using the State of MN Screen type “MDHS” in the request field mdhs

  4. Logging onto MAXIS • Enter your X1 # and password X127644########

  5. Logging onto MAXIS • On the command line enter a number or 4 letter code for example enter #2 for Inquiry or “FMPI”

  7. Command line navigation • You can navigate to a MAXIS menu by typing their names on the function and command lines. • Many screens also require a case number and a benefit month.

  8. Command Line Nagivation • Function : The four letter menu name • Case number: The number assigned to MAXIS household • Benefit period: The month and year for which eligibility is displayed • Command: The four letter screen name

  9. Person Search • When you need to locate a person or a case number in MAXIS do a person search using the function of PERS. • Type PERS on the function line and transmit

  10. PERS • Enter the person’s name, DOB and SSN and gender in the fields provided

  11. PERS/MTCH • Type X to select the client name you want to view and transmit

  12. PERS/DSPL • This screen displays the person selected and provides you with information about the individual such as case number and worker information

  13. CASE Function • The CASE function allows you to view more information about a case such as program information, address history, notices and notes.

  18. CASE/NOTE • You can stack case notes by numbering them
