  2. Called To Commitment • Exodus 3-4 • God’s Call To Commitment • - He spoke to Moses: Exodus 3:1-10 • * an awesome God to be feared: 4-6 • * an empathic God who feels our pain: 7 • * a saving God: 8 • * a compassionate, but just God: 9 • “I will send thee unto Pharaoh”

Called To Commitment Exodus 3-4 - God’s calls us to commitment: 1 Peter 2:9-10 * to love with our all: Matthew 22:34-40 * based on God’s word: Jeremiah 6:16;Titus 2:1 * to holy living: 1 Thessalonians 4:1-3;James 1:27 * to tremble at His word: Isaiah 66:2;1 Peter 4:11; Titus 2:11-12 * to the body of Christ: 1 Timothy 4:12; Hebrews 10:24-25; 3:12-13 * to lost souls: Matthew 9:36; Matthew 28:19-20

What’s Our Excuse: Exodus 3:11 – 4:17 - “Who Am I?” (3:11-12) = Let somebody else do it * He to whom God is speaking: Hebrews 1:1-2 * God speaks to our duty too: Galatians 6:10 - “What shall I say to them?” (13-22) = I don’t know what to say * a message of authority (13-14); deliverance (16-17); duty (18), judgment (19-20); victory (21-22)
