PLURAL NOUNS • Most plural nouns are formed by adding s or es • ADD –es to singular nouns ending in s, ss, x, ch, or sh • Add –iesto singular nouns ending with a consonant + y (drop the y, add ies) • Add sfor nouns ending with a vowel + y • Irregular nouns don’t follow these rules (ex: feet, children, people, maze, etc.)
