  1. ALL ABOUT ME BY MRS. HIGDON

  2. My Family • I live with my daughter, Sofia, my husband, Mr. Higdon, and our bunny, Hoppy.

  3. Teaching • I have taught second and third grade. This is my SIXTH year teaching first grade. I am so excited!

  4. My Hobbies • I love to read on my Kindle, swim, hike, play with my daughter, ride my bike, take walks on the beach, take photographs, and travel.

  5. Favorites • My favorite color is blue. • My favorite season is autumn. • My favorite holiday is Halloween. • My favorite animal is a dog. • My favorite food is pizza.

  6. My Summer • This summer I spent almost everyday with my daughter, Sofia. She turned nine this summer. • We went on a summer vacation to Williamsburg, Virginia. We went on tons of rides, saw fireworks, and splashed in the pool. We also visited New Paultz, NY and Lake Mohonk, and we hiked every day. We visited Point Pleasant, the Readington Balloon Festival, and Chicago too! I love traveling!

  11. Our Class • We will have a very exciting year. We will learn how to write stories, paragraphs, and poems. We will raise organisms, learn about weather, and experiment with light and sound. Get ready to read many exciting stories! We will learn how to solve story problems in math. Let’s get started! I can’t wait!!!
