Twin Purposes of the Trip • Getting to know the Salvadoran people, Church, & culture • Learning about the history of El Salvador, particularly recent history of civil war • Experience the Church in El Salvador, with special emphasis on the martyrs of the past 40 years ● Serving the Salvadoran people – Hogar de los Niños (orphanage) – Building a home for Señora Paula

  5. Day 3 Getting Donations Ready & Maryknoll Missioners

  6. Day 4 First Work Day on Mission Sites

  7. Day 5 Work Continues at Service Sites

  8. Day 6 Day of Remembering

  9. Days 7 & 8 Work Continued & Concluded

  10. Day 9 Beach Day at the Pacific Ocean
