  3. Ex 2A: Write the Equation of the Line Steps: • Find the slope. • Find the y-intercept. • Write in slope-intercept form (y=mx+b).

The function, S(t), below determines how many elves have swine flu where t = time in days and S = the number of people in thousands. • Find S(4). • What does S(4) mean? • Find t when S(t) = 3. • What does S(t) = 3 mean? • Write the equation, using function notation, of this line?
