The irony in this section is that the Victory Mansion is described as gritty, and un clean. When people think of a victory Mansion the imagery that would come to mind is that is a place to be proud of and well taken care of. Literary device: Irony
The theme that is depicted in this is how the use of propaganda can alter the views of people, just by replacing what they think is right to their own versions of what they think is right. The party tries so hard make people think in their particular way by the use of propaganda and they fill their minds with misleading information they wire us to believe. Theme
