Study Design • Application of a new technology to measure impairment of individual muscles of the back based upon electrical energy emitted by the muscles of the back during very light exercise. • Similar to an EKG for muscles of the back.

METHODS • Repeat Spa Therapy after 48 hours • Repeat Measurements • Continue 3x per week for 6 weeks
RESULTS Expected • Measured improvement in back pain based on IMS measured back pain and self report relative to before spa therapy. • Results adjusted for • Concomitant therapy such as medications • Initial severity of back injury • Location of injury
