From the top of Tho’ odi • Susie Charlie was the first to spot the bull moose that the students shot
How much noise can we make? • The girls ate a lot and made way to much noise
Moose can kill • Extreme care must be taken when approaching a downed moose
Good luck going back home • The first thing to do after dropping a moose is to remove the head and point it towards home, so that you will have good luck next time hunting

Traditions Live On • Luke shows the young men how to correctly use a knife to remove the ribs.
Women at a Moose kill • Women have a role in assisting the men in the butchering.
Packing Moose to Boat • A moose can weigh 1,000 lb. It will take twelve trips to pack out all the meat.
HANGING MEAT • Taking care of the meat is very important.it must be kept cool and clean
As we did 1,000 years ago • Each night the group sat around the camp fire to stay warm and to listen to stories by the elders
Elders have a great sense of humor • It was nice to see the elders always having a good time and making us laugh
