  5. Did you know . . . More than 25 million Americans, including nearly 9million children receive emergency food assistance each year from America's Second Harvest, a national food bank network of charitable agencies

  6. Did you know . . . About 70 percent of the clients seeking emergency food assistance are living below the federal poverty line . . . Nearly 40 percent have at least one working adult in their “household”

  7. Who is homeless? Federal and state laws say that young people who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence are homeless
