  1. What rust nails the fastest Dawn Soap, Pepsi, or Coffee?

  2. Purpose Because I want to see which liquid rust the nails the fastest. What liquids I am using coffee, dawn soap, and Pepsi. Hypothesis • I think that coffee will rust the nails the fastest because it decays and stains your teeth by the acid that is in the coffee.

  3. The Materials 9 metal nails, 12 ounces carton of soap, 12 ounces of a can of Pepsi, 12 ounces of coffee, 3 small containers, and 3 small lids.

  4. The Procedure • Bring 3 small containers with lids and pour 4 ounces of dawn soap in one of the containers and pour 4ounces of Pepsi in one other container and pour 4 ounces of coffee in the last container and put all of the lids on the containers. Do this three times. Then graph the resultseach day.

  5. What rusts a nail the most? 1=no rust to 3=the most rust

  6. Conclusion • The Pepsi was the one that rust the nail the most. My Hypothesis was wrong. Because the sugar in Pepsi rotsyour teeth the most and it has caffeine.
